| IMPORTANT: HAIR COLOURANTS CAN CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION WHICH IN CERTAIN RARE CASES MAY BE SEVERE. TO HELP YOU REDUCE THE RISK OF AN ALLERGIC REACTION, IT IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL TO FOLLOW THE PRECAUTIONS BELOW: |

· Avoid contact of the product with skin and eyes.
· Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. If you wear contact lenses, take them out before rinsing you eyes thoroughly with water.
· Wear the gloves supplied in the carton.
· Rinse hair well after application.
· Prepare and apply the mix preferably in a well-ventilated place.
· Do not inhale or ingest.

· For all questions concerning your individual sensitivity, consult your doctor.
· Do not use on a beard or moustache for any other purpose than colouring your hair.
· Wait at least 15 days after lightening or relaxing the hair before applying the hair
colourant.
· Do not use if your hair has been coloured with henna or with a progressive colour.
· Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use on children.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ADVICE |
IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME USER: Do a Full Head application of GARNIER color natural MEN.
IF YOUR HAIR IS ALREADY COLOURED (with a Hair Dye / Hair Colour): Wait at least 15 days between your colour application and the application of GARNIER color naturals MEN.
· To remove traces of colour from the skin, wet cotton with water and shampoo, then wipe off.
· Do not use metal bowl / container, brush or comb to mix the colour.
· The colour of the mixture bears no resemblance to the end colour result.
· Once mixed, apply immediately. Do not keep.

RECOMMENDATIONS
· It is recommended that you wash your hair with GARNIER shampoo 1 or 2 days before the application of GARNIER color naturals MEN.
· Do not use any hair oil or other treatment before you colour your hair.
· To assure a visible and better colour result, use the entire contents of the mixture.

DO NOT USE IF:
You have previously experienced a reaction to hair colourant.
You have an irritated or damaged scalp.
BLACK HENNA TATTOOS: If you have ever had, even once, a black henna tattoo, you may have become allergic without knowing it. Do not use this product unless you have done the skin allergy test 48 hours before use.
IN ALL CASES IT IS NECESSARY THAT YOU PERFORM A SKIN ALLERGY TEST 48 HOURS BEFORE EACH USE OF THIS PRODUCT, AS AN ALLERGY CAN DEVELOP SUDDENLY, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY USED A HAIR COLOURANT OF THIS OR ANY OTHER BRAND.
Caution:
This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation in certain cases and so a preliminary test according to the accompanying directions should first be made. This product not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; as such use may cause blindness.
This preparation may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some cases and so a preliminary test should always be carried out to determine whether or not special sensitivity exists. To perform the test, remove the earrings. Behind the ear and using a cotton-bud apply a little of the unmixed colorant product sufficient to cover 1 sq. cm . Re-apply two or three times allowing it to dry between each application. Carefully reseal the colorant container. Leave for 48 hours without washing, covering or touching. If during this period you notice any abnormal reactions – such as itching, redness or swelling in or around the test area, do not apply the product.
This test should, however, be carried out before each and every application. This preparation should on no account the used for dyeing eyebrows or eyelashes as severe inflammation of the eye or even blindness may result.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
IN CASE OF A REACTION DURING THE APPLICATION such as intense stinging, irritation, rash or burning sensation on the scalp, rinse immediately and discontinue use. If you experience shortness of breath, seek immediate medical attention. Before colouring your hair again, consult a doctor.

A BEFORE ALLICATION WE SUGGEST YOU GET:

Please note that you will notice hair growth at the roots of your hair (near the scalp) a few weeks after application which needs to be touched-up especially if you have grey hair.

FULL HEAD APPLICATION
If you are a first time do a Full Head Application. ‘FULL HEAD’ is when you cover the entire length of the hair from root to the end with the full amount of mixture.
|
TOUCH-UP APPLICATION
‘Touch-up’ is when you concentrate on applying colour on the roots of previously coloured hair, close to the scalp (grey or new natural hair growth).

STEP A EASY PREPARATION FOR FULL HEAD APPLICATION:
- Put gloves on.
- Open cap of the Developer bottle.
- Pour the entire contents into a non-metallic bowl.
- Open the cap of the Cream Hair Colourant. (seal to be pierced with the point in the cap)
- Squeeze the entire contents of the Cream Hair Colourant downwards into the plastic bowl.
- Mix the colourant and the developer with a hair colouring brush and stir well till the mixture is smooth in texture. Apply immediately

STEP A EASY PREPARATION FOR TOUCH-UP APPLICATION
- Put gloves on.
- Open the cap of the Developer bottle.
- Pour the required amount of the Developer (see measure table) in to a non-metallic bowl.
- Open the cap of the Cream Hair Colourant (seal to be pierced with the point in the cap.
- Squeeze the required amount of Cream Hair Colourant (see measure table) downwards into the plastic bowl.
- Mix the colourant and the developer with a hair colouring brush and stir well till the mixture is smooth in texture. Apply immediately.
After obtaining the required the amount of Developer Colourant replace the cap on the bottle & tube & close tightly.

STEP B EASY METHOD FOR FULL HEAD APPLICATION
- With a hair colouring brush, apply the mixture on dry, unwashed hair. Start by applying the mixture to the roots separating the hair strand by strand.
- Spread the remaining mixture through the rest of the hair
- Cover the entire hair with the mixture.
- Leave to develop for 30 minutes.
- Throw away any unused mixture.
Tip: Overtime, the cream may turn dark, due to exposure to air. Ignore, as this has no bearing on product performance and final colour result.

STEP B EASY METHOD FOR TOUCH0UP APPLICATION
1. Use the hair colouring brush, apply the mixture on dry, unwashed hair on the root area only, making sections strand by strand.
2. Concentrate solely on the grey or on the root areas.
3. After 15 minutes, without washing off apply the rest of the colour on the full length of the hair.
4. Leave to develop for another 15 minutes.
5. Throw away any unused mixture.
Tip: Overtime, the cream may turn dark, due to exposure to air. Ignore, as this has no bearing on product performance and final colour result.

STEP C RINSE AND CONDITION
1. After 30 minutes of the development time, wet hair a little and gently lather for 1 minute.
2. Rinse well with water until the water runs clear.
3. For best results apply GARNIER conditioner for coloured hair on your hair.
4. Massage gently and leave in for 2 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Tip: Every application of GARNIER color naturals MEN should be followed by an after colour conditioner.
